My qualifications
With more than 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, I have much more to offer than simply personal training.

My career started 2000 in Trowbridge at a local gym where I began personal training, working with GP referals, taking spin and circuit classes. I trained as a non- competitive triathlete and half marathon runner.

Now as a trainer, through years of studying, I take every aspect of my client’s life into consideration, for example, how their hormone profile effects where they store body fat through Biosignature modulation. I correct muscular imbalances through sports massage and MAT, I provide full guidance on nutrition, lifestyle and of course training type and intensity. The result? One very happy client base, which is illustrated through the testimonials gathered.

I have a very broad client base which ranges from those who want to “look good”, get strong, train hard and there are those wishing to enhance recovery from strokes, cancer and back conditions.

My absolute passion is training, nutrition and in particular getting women to train with heavy weights. In my opinion, the greatest misconceptions in the fitness industry are that long duration cardio effectively burns body fat and that weight training in women adds bulk. This simply is untrue as cardio can burn muscle mass and make you very efficient at storing fat, where as weight training at the correct intensity increases lean muscle tissue making you more efficient at burning up those fat stores!

Speaking from my own experience, I was always your typical “cardio queen” who would spend an hour a day either running or on the x-trainer and lived on carbohydrates. My body fat stayed around the 18% mark and my body shape never seemed to change. Then I discovered weight training and eating according to my hormone profile and for the first time ever my body fat dropped to 12.5% in 4 weeks! I felt lean, strong and defined. This could be you, its pretty simple, you need to know how and that’s where I come in.

So if you’re looking for a trainer to count your reps, watch you run on the treadmill whilst chatting about what you did at the weekend then you’ve come to the wrong place!
